What we expect from E3 2017 – Games to be shown and Surprise entries

The biggest gaming convention of the year E3 2017 is on the edge and just 5 days are left. There are many expectations from this year E3 2017. All giant game publishers like Sony , Microsoft , EA , Nintendo are set to showcase their arsenal with few surprises as well. From june 10 , we will see all new trailers , gameplay footages, surprise reveals and story details from many different games.
Here what we expect from different game publishers.

1:) Microsoft

The failure of XBox against Playstation 4 was a big wakeup call for Microsoft to improve their hardware as well as marketing stragies. But this year , we may see a increase of market share of XBox. And it can be possible with XBox Scorpio. It has the most advanced or upgraded hardware right now but if comes out costly , it would be a big disappointment for them as Playstation 4 has become a gaming giant and Microsoft needs something special to beat that.
Although XBox can run in true 4K but it will need 4K compatible games and we can expect Forza Motosport 7 , Crackdown 3 , State of Decay 2 at E3 2017 and that too in 4K . However Forza Motosport 7 is not announced yet but we can expect atleast a new trailer from franchise. Meanwhile, Crackdown intense game play and State of decay Zombie fighting could be easily turned into a 4K presentation to fully enjoy XBox Scorpio. Also , as we have discussed Halo 6 will not be shown and Sea of Thieves could be shown.

2:) EA

While EA did not do the main show previous show and same is the case this time. We still are hoping some announcements on June 10. They will be presenting their annual EA Sports games and Star Wars games. The big one on the cards is probably Star Wars: Battlefront II. The first game was a great multiplayer shooter but lacked a single-player campaign. The story mode will cover the 30-year gap between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens, and the meaty multiplayer now rolls in characters and locations from the entire trilogy of trilogies. Fans already know most of the details, so EA will probably use the time to show off some new game play footage.
As we have discussed about Need for Speed in previous article about the teaser photo but else we have no detail about new NFS video game. We will probably see atleast a reveal trailer on E3 Expo. And the annual lineup of sports games, FIFA, NBA Live and Madden NFL reveal is confirmed .
We also expect some DLC announcements of Battlefield and Mass Effect : Andromeda yet this is not very likely to happen.

3:) Ubisoft

In May, Ubisoft confirmed it will release four games over the next year: Far Cry 5, The Crew 2, South Park: The Fractured But Whole and an as-yet-untitled Assassin’s Creed game.
Though we are betting that it would be titled “Assassin Creed : Origins “. After taking a year off in 2016, the new Assassin’s Creed will be Ubisoft’s big reveal this E3. It’ll be a prequel set in ancient Egypt called Assassin’s Creed: Origins. We hope that they don’t focus too much on South park as we already know everything and want it to be out. It is their consecutive third year with South Park.
The game which we all are excited about is Far Cry 5. Ubisoft announced the trailer few days back and it looked impressive even it was only 2 minutes though. Far Cry 5 brings the series to the US for the first time, tasking players with rising up against a doomsday cult in rural Montana. We don’t know much beyond the two-minute reveal trailer, but it’s sure to follow the same open-world, open-narrative structure the franchise is famous for. Expect plenty of game play footage and story details on this one.
The other announcemt is Crew 2 . The first was an online racing game that turned a miniaturized version of the United States into one big playground, and we’d expect more of the same here.

With the worldwide success of PlayStation 4 , Sony has truly achieved great milestones. But they are not satisfied yet and will be bombarding us with new installments this year. The Japanese giant has many fan favorite games on the line.
The most anticipating one is The Last of Us Part 2. With the trailer launched last december, fans have not heard a word from there yet. The wait may be going to end on this E3. We know that player role will be Ellie this time and we expect too much from this award winning title.
Announced at last year’s E3, Death Stranding is also very much anticipating and hope to see some details on E3 . Also , my personal favourite Metal Gear could have a shot if rumours are to be believed .
And the game which remained Sony’s pet project or we can say their most serious project is none other than God of War. From the first God of war , this game title has advanced the hack and slash into a new level. Games like Bayonetta , Devil May Cry came into existence due to this legendary video game. We saw last year a 10 minute gameplay of God of War which was quite exciting as this time Kratos was busy on his responsibility as a father and suddenly chaos comes and he with his son has to tackle the dangers. We will surely be seeing a trailer at least and some more story details and a release date for sure.
This is all from these giant gaming franchises , other franchises like Bethesda has also some stuff to be announced and we are excited about some DLC of Prey.
Let us know , what you think about our expectations and if we miss anything.
